The advanced motorcycle course schedule for 2011 is as follows:
Welcome to the ONLY advanced motorcycle road course available in Ontario! Are you an experienced rider looking to expand your knowledge and skills? Are you returning to biking after a break and feel a little unsure of your abilities? Or maybe you’ve had a few close calls and wish to avoid a collision in the future? Whatever your reason, you’ve come to the right place. We can help you achieve your goals and then surpass them! Before you attend this training you will need to undergo a riding assessment. Here I will assess your riding skills to determine if the course will provide you with any value. We will ride for approximately one hour and it will be recorded in order to review. If it is determined that ARC will not enhance your skills, the assessment fee will be waived.
Day 1: Consists of one full day (approximately 8 hours) in class where we will cover many aspects of riding (the theory behind the ride). The classes will be small, maximum of 5 participants. Although the day will involve a lot of information you will learn it in a relaxed and fun atmosphere!
Day 2: A full day (approximately 8 hours) on the road, riding as a group and putting into practice the theory from Day 1. Every rider will lead the group and have their ride recorded at some point during the day. A copy will be provided upon completion in order to compare it against the initial riding assessment and see your improvements. On successful completion of both days you will be awarded the ARC Advanced Rider Certificate.
